In another small study involving 15 patients receiving hemodialysis (where blood is pumped out of the body to an artificial kidney machine), they were found to have gastrointestinal symptoms, including constipation (likely due to restrictions in their water intake required as part of their therapy), as well as carnitine deficiency
BPC-157 and Thymosin Beta-4 are adjuncts to standard care (dietary fiber, hydration, topical treatments, possible procedural intervention), not replacements
Low-dose aspirin does not appear to have this effect (Renaud, Nutrients 2024)
